Service + Sound Adjustments

  • String instruments require regular service to remain protected, stable in tuning, and open in their sound. In addition to these essential measures, I devote particular attention to individual sound adjustment, adapting each step to the needs of both instrument and musician.
Shaped by professional experience and regular exchange with renowned workshops, my work is guided by the search for a coherent and satisfying union of sound and playability.

Repair

  • From minor repairs to highly complex repair work, I care for your instrument with craftsmanship, precision, and professional guidance. Drawing on my experience with high-quality string instruments and an in-depth engagement with their substance and history, I offer repairs that preserve the instrument’s character and tonal identity.
Musicians are welcome to bring their instruments to the workshop so that any damage can be assessed together on site and a sensible, individually tailored solution can be found.

Purchase

  • From student instruments to characterful master instruments, I support you in the selection process with experience and care. My work as a violin maker directly informs well-founded recommendations, tailored to individual needs.
Through on-site sound adjustments, each instrument is carefully adapted to the respective musician. To support a carefully considered decision, instruments can be loaned for one week and experienced in a familiar environment or in the concert hall.

About Me

  • As a violin maker, I combine precise craftsmanship with a refined sense for sound and character, shaped by a four-year, state-certified professional education completed with distinction, and by practical work in renowned workshops.

My work is rooted in the Central European classical music tradition and in instruments of the violin family. Regular professional exchange, work with instruments of diverse origins, and attentive listening in dialogue with musicians shape my approach. As a polyglot craftsman, I naturally move between a historically grounded musical culture and an international community of musicians.

I see my workshop as a quiet place of focused work and open dialogue, where instruments are cared for with respect for their substance and in harmony with the needs of the musicians.

10% Student Discount

To support young musicians on their journey toward finding their own sound, I offer students a permanent 10% discount.
I am aware that financial circumstances during studies can often be challenging. At the same time, it is important to me to provide young musicians with professional guidance and not leave them on their own.
For this reason, I always strive to find a sensible and fair solution together — even when the financial situation is difficult at the moment.
